Corset Sizing Information

This is a general guide. Most of my corsets are sized as below. All my corsets measurements are listed in the Product Description area of my ads.

Your waist measurement is the most important. You do not want the corset to be too big in the waist. Corsets should be ordered 2-6 inches below your natural waist measurement, depending on the desired effect. A good rule of thumb would be to order a corset 4 inches smaller than your current waist size (see below).

For example: A person whose natural waist size is 28 inches should order a corset of size 24 inches, and could wear the garment semi closed at the back giving a 2 inch reduction, or fully closed giving a 4 inch reduction. All corsets should be comfortable to wear.

When choosing a corset please also be aware of your own height as well, as certain styles – Long Line Corsets– are far more suitable for those people who are somewhat longer in the body or are over 5’ 8” in height, or are unsuitable for those below 5’ 3”.
